Time, in its Flight
News comes, alas, that John Phillip Law, the delectable morsel seen above, has shuffled off this mortal coil at the somehow surprising age of 70.
Time wasn't terribly kind to the generation of male sex kittens (sex cubs?) whose careers emerged around the time of Stonewall, feminism, and general sixties upheaval. Law, Keir Dullea, and even genuine stars like Michael York somehow stalled out, replaced by seventies tough guys and Serious Thespians like Pacino and Deniro. Still, who among us doen't have a fond memory of John Phillip and his wings?
Also - imagine a world in which Jane Fonda could wear what amounted to a lucite body suit, but a Sexy Male Angel costume had to include a feathered loincloth that rode higher than your average grandpa pants...
