Well, given all that was wrong in that sad lady's life, not The Wrongest, but it's up there.
I put this up because I was watching her in Separate Tables (which has mostly pretty dull poster art), and thinking what a weird role it was for her. Then I read that she was a more or less last-minute replacement for Lady Olivier, and it all made sense: she's costumed, lit, and directed like a late-era Vivien, and the role is basically a version of Mrs. Stone/whatshername from Ship of Fools.
All of which is to say: at least she ditched the blonde as fast as she was able...
I still think a blonde Rita is wrong, just wrong.
