And Away We Go

We hear the UK's rather festive this time of year; we decided it might be a good idea to check it out first-hand.

So if it's quiet hereabouts for a day or two, it just means that we're off for a little winter holiday.  I haven't seen the Christmas lights on Regent Street since '89, and I'm hoping to wander off and find a little good music in some quiet church.

As for the dogs, Koko and Boudi are off to their favorite spa, where for just about what we're paying for a moderately upmarket hotel room in central London they'll participate in plays groups and (I kid you not) go swimming.  The last time we went to pick them up they were regally aloof, as if they'd come to the realization that all this time they'd been slumming it with us and not realized it.

I only hope we don't come to the same conclusion when finally we make our way back...

  1. Darling! I was in Regent Street only last night (on my way to a pub, obviously). Less festive, more Night of the Living Dead...

Bond Street - lights and general ambience - is far superior!

We are unlikely to bump into each other in a church, of that I am certain, so your visit is safe :-)
