Rainy Days and...

...nearly naked Bollywood stars.  A step up from that treacly '70s lyric if you ask me.

So fall is here on the East Coast, and with a vengeance.  The weather broke sometime early in the week, and ever since it's been an uninterrupted parade of gray skies and chilly rain.  The dogs are adapting remarkably well, but for me it's been a wake-up call, if nothing else, about my entire lack of waterproof clothing.  And soon enough we'll be needing gloves, and hats, and scarves, and all sorts of accoutrements I haven't needed in a decade or more.

All the more reason to pause, this Columbus Day weekend, to admire our insouciant friend shown here doing his best CopperTone ad impersonation.  He may not quite be the subcontinental reincarnation of Olivier or Barrymore, but he certainly does have his way with a waistband, don't you think?
