In her black lace mantilla and matching collar and cuffs, the heavenly Hedy Lamarr is lost ... in a revery of Fabulon.(If nothing else, I've always thought the career of La Lamarr proves definitively that Garbo could act; if it all were down to beauty alone, Hedy would have been the greatest star in history...)

if it were all down to beauty alone, I'd also give Omar Sharif, Alain Delon, Warren Beatty, Peter O'Toole, Sean Connery, Cary Grant and Rock Hudson runner-up status for greatest stars in history.
