I try to follow the news, really I do. But what with elections, hurricanes, horror stories from hither and yon, the doings of Britney and Paris and now the Wasilla Chillbillies, it's hard to keep up.

So my question is this: should I be ashamed to admit that I first heard of and have primarily tracked the career of the new prime minister of what we're supposed to, in these parts, refer to as The Zionist Entity through the chronicling of the estimable Princess Sparkle Pony?

I suppose it could be worse. I could be relying on Fox News. Or Drudge.
